Activity Holidays for Dogs
The main aim of our team is to provide all of our guests with individual care and attention, the companionship of humans and other dogs, and a fun and varied daily routine with a strong emphasis on exercise and education.
The result is an enjoyable experience for the dogs and the reassurance for you that your dog will never be bored or lonely, and even better, will return home fit, healthy and usually better behaved.
All residents are taken out on group off-lead walks, 4-5 times throughout the day, including last thing at night.
Daily individual play sessions are coupled with fun rounds of the assault course of tunnels, A-frames and jumps. Professional trainers and handlers also practice controlled retrieve, tugging, football, Frisbee and catch games with all our guests.
Weight reduction programmes are available as necessary.
We feed all residents at least twice a day with Hill's Science Plan as well as rawhide chews, cow’s ears, bedtime biscuits and regular access to beef marrow and knuckle bones. Residents are often fed from an activity ball or pyramid puzzle. All dogs drink our own healthy spring water!
During their stay and on departure, each resident is fully groomed, bathed and given a general health check.
I have always felt uncomfortable, regardless of how good the services were, about leaving my dogs in various other boarding establishments, but now I have peace of mind. Cil has improved socially as well as physically and we can tell by her behaviour that she had a great time. There is bounce in her step. "
